2020 WICPA Excellence Award
The Wisconsin Institute of CPAs (WICPA) is the premier professional organization representing CPAs, accounting and business professionals. There are more than 7,000 in public accounting, business and industry, government, nonprofit and education.
Each year the WICPA presents Excellence Awards to members in several categories. This year the WICPA has recognized Michael D. Donahue for the CPA in Public Accounting Award.
This award recognizes an individual who is a CPA working in public practice. The recipient of this award has demonstrated significant achievements that have contributed to the success and growth of a firm.
“I am very honored and humbled to be selected for the CPA in Public Accounting Award. I have been involved with the WICPA in one form or another since 1987, and I truly appreciate being recognized.
I can tell you that I definitely have received more from my membership than I have given. I have served on the Wisconsin Taxation Committee and am still active on the Federal Taxation Committee. My involvement has definitely made me a better CPA and has helped the growth of our firm as well.
I can’t think of a better business organization than the WICPA, and being recognized with this award truly means a lot to me, both personally and professionally.”
